Are you interested in growing and knowing more about houseplants? Do you believe that indoor houseplants are good for our physical and mental health? Then this workshop is for you!

In honor National Houseplant Day back on January 10th, Blooming Artisan is hosting a fun, informative and interactive houseplant workshop. First will be the educational portion - Houseplants 101. You will learn some of the basic rules of thumb about caring for some of the most popular houseplants. We’ll discuss topics such as watering, light requirements, potting soil and fertilizing. In addition, we’ll talk about the benfits of indoor houseplants on our health.  

The second portion is the hands-on portion and we’ll be getting our hands dirty in the soil. You will be guided step-by-step We will guide on how to plant your own dish garden for your home or office.

This workshop includes:

• Indoor plant guide for caring for houseplants

• A dish garden -  (3) 4” house plants, a container, potting soil and any other tools or supplies that may be needed.

No prior experience is required.

Light refreshments will be provided.
